Terrance and Shane took the snowmobiles up to the cabin this weekend to try and get some of the snow off of the roof and put my dads mind at ease. The weather turned out to be beautiful and there was about a foot and a half to two feet of new snow on top of Fairview. They tried to find the best way to get up on the roof and clear the snow but apparently there was no easy way. Shane climbed up and they were able to get some of the snow before Shane slid right off of the roof and in to the deep snow below. That is when they decided to give up and come home.
I am wondering if we will ever be able to get in to the cabin this year. The snow just keeps getting deeper and deeper.
