It has been quite a year of hunting deer for Braydn and finally it is done!
Opening weekend of the deer hunt Terrance, Braydn and Brandon when to the cabin and stayed since nobody else would be there that weekend. Braydn was all excited and ready to shoot any buck he could get a shot at. Opening morning uncle Mike came up and took Braydn hiking. Not such a good idea considering the fog had been so thick you couldn't see more then just a few feet in front of you. Lucky for them they made it to their destination and out before the storm set in and the fog came back. The other 2 met them in the bottom with the truck where they decided that it was time to go back to the cabin before something bad happened.
Back at the cabin Uncle Mike went home and the rest of the boys decided to close their eyes for a few minutes and wait out the storm. They woke up to a big surprise, about 2 inches of snow covered the truck and the ground. I called to let them know that the weather report had just said that they would be receiving another 8+ inches over the night. Needless to say they decided to come home when they heard that.
Jason decided to run up after work one day and asked T and Braydn to come along. I received a call just a couple of hours later letting me know that is was snowing again and they were on their way home and oh by the way Braydn is done hunting! Yeah he finally got one. Not one piece of that deer went to waste either. Braydn kept some steaks to take to his scout camp outs and made some Jerky and gave the rest away. People begged him for the guts to eat. blah!
